What travellers are saying
- Paul JMuskegon, MI268 contributionsThe springs are amazing! 72 degrees all year round. You can swim in the beautiful water. Great shelter for picnics and a store with relics as well.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dana sDaytona Beach Area, FL39 contributionsWhat a lovely park! We rode bikes along the unpaved, flat trails. We saw an alligator, lots of cool birds, one snake, a turtle or two and some frogs. Look at the map and you know that you're not in the wilds, but it feels secluded and peacefulWritten 9 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AmyDHLexington, NE21 contributionsOur second year of taking a family vacation to Daytona Beach and coming to Volusia Speedway Park for the WoO Late Models in February! Nice facility that is fairly close to Daytona Beach with nice size lot for handicap parking. People are friendly. Nice variety of food, snacks, drinks.Written 5 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John33328Fort Lauderdale, FL25 contributionsRoadside park with a small playground and picnic area along the shores of Lake Dias. There is a small public boat ramp and parking for about 10 vehicle trailer combos. Not a large place and the picnic tables fill up fast. The lake itself is fairly large and is oriented east to west so it makes for a picturesque place to watch the sunset.Written 10 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David CFlorida16 contributionsA 1 day ride but only 2 hours. Lots of tree canopy in the Park and very well marked trails. Accessed core trails from main Trail Head via Burt Parks Road off of US 17.
Many interesting trails, several blues, but only 3 trails were open on our day due to washout from recent rains. Long looping green is Screaming Hawk. Other 2 blues were Awesome Possum (very good) and Angry Armadillo (ok).
Major park amenities south of trails in case of rain including benches and restrooms. Not much traffic but we were there mid week. Recommend Deep Woods OFF. Recommend and will return in winter (dry).Written 27 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jdoris922Levittown, PA25 contributionsFamily owned business. Both Brittany ( who kept in contact with us right up to the departure) and Josh ( our captain) made this bucket list dream a reality! Our 1 hour private tour was eveything we expected and more from sighting countless very large, medium, and small gators, to turtles, fish, and birds of all varieties, our trip was amazing! Josh even took pictures for us and air dropped them ( at no additional cost) to my wifes phone! Even though a little more expensive than other charters, you are not "crammed" into an oversized 20 person slow moving airboat that you dont see nearly the wildlife or back canals we did! I would definitely recommend this tour!Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- merceedenfm48 contributionsThe ranch is family oriented. The experience has something for every level of rider. You can take a lesson or trail ride. My choice; they can show you how to weave and do the barrels. Each horse has a personality and purpose from English to western. Great experience.Written 8 April 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Love2travelthreeClermont, Florida312 contributionsWe chose to bring the family on the boat ride. We did see turtles and alligators but I really would have like to hear more about the history of the area instead of the different plants along the river. It was a canned speal with not much effort in a fun delivery. This really could be so much better.Written 11 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
