This is a great small town water park with two awesome slides, a current pool, a diving pool, and a walk-in pool with water toys. $7 for adults and $6 for kids or a season pass for $60 gets 20 admissions. I'm from Denver where the amazing Water World is located. While Wild Waters isn't Water World -- it is 1/5 the price and a totally awesome stop on the way to the Sand Dunes or Durango / Four Corners / Grand Canyon!

"Amazing views!! The course was well taken care of, especially being so off the beaten path. There was just a modular building for the club house, but the people were very nice, and the course was in good condition, despite the drought they've had."
"We had read about the Ludlow Massacre and my husband's History teacher had been there and described it but it is nothing like being there. Reading about the events that happened there brought tears to our eyes. We spent about 30 minutes there and then drove down the road to the town of Ludlow which ..."is now a ghost town. This is well woth the drive off I-25.

If you want the pure camping experience they have an area for that. If you want to take a trailer or other RV, they ..."have electrical hook-ups in another campground. There’s water posts where you can fill up your tank and they have a dump station. In loop C there are some stunning views of Spanish Peaks with the lake in the foreground. We camped in site C68 this trip. Other times we camped in D loop for a view of the hogback ridge and the Sangre de Christo mountains. If you have an annual pass, it's only 20 dollars per night.
We recommend the hogback trail. It’s perhaps three miles around the loop and offers some great scenery. It’s not strenuous but there is an uphill grade. Take your camera as there are some nice views. And be sure to pick up the brochure for the trail at the visitor center. It’s free ...
