"Small but fun for kids - feeding time is when you will get to see the animals best and get a short talk by the person working with them, but if you go 30 minutes before, buy some feed and go around and see the animlas without the extra people and let the kids feed the goats, donkey, sheep, etc.
..."
Feeding time lets you watch them feed the larger, more adversarial animals,(bear, wolves, etc).
Athese are animals that canoot be re-introduced the wild, so the admission helps to keep them in good condition and educate the public on local wildlife.
We do not have children with us, but we enjoyed feeding the critters, too!

"We took this tril on a very wet, drizzly morning and it was worth it. when we pulled into the parking lot, a sign on the right of the water said "trail closed", but the trail on the left (begins by the restrooms) seemed to be the main one and it was doable even in the wet weather.
Not a very lon..."g or difficult trail, and you get a great view of the falls from the bridge.
Don't have a picture to post because I took a video - you'll need to take your own - ha ha!

"My husband and I enjoyed this, although Red Ryder was a bit before my time.
Fair bit of Harmon's art and memorabilia - cowboys and Indians, etc.
Will probably appeal most to those who grew up with that sort of thing."
