Healing Springs Health Spa is wellness in symphony with spa where beauty is manifested through health and vitality. As a native of Manitou Springs, Spa Therapist Leslyn Zak has been inspired by the healing spring waters of this town and incorporates them into innovative spa treatments. The spa is located inside the BAC (Business of Art Center) which houses two art galleries, a bookstore and cafe. The building is brightly painted with chairs on the roof. There is a private lot adjacent to the building and amply free street parking on the Avenue.

At most museums, you hear, "Look with your eyes, not with your hands." Not at the outdoor exhibits at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum, where you can reach out and touch ancient Anasazi buildings. Explore the authentic Anasazi structures, investigate the Pueblo-style buildings and traditional clay oven, and examine the pottery, tools, and weapons used by these ancient and mysterious peoples. Open since 1907, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings have preserved these historic Anasazi artifacts for all to enjoy for generations to come. Get a hands-on look at history that the whole family will enjoy.

"A modest investment of time and money. If you like old architecture it's worth seeing. Tour includes a firemans exhibit (a group worth honoring). Self paced tour. Lots of neat old castles and buildings in Manitou Springs. What left me scratching my head, was where did a French Catholic priest g..."et all the money to build a castle? Nice friendly people and staff.

"To begin, the seats are hard and uncomfortable. My rear end hurt. Sitting backward on an incline is uncomfortable. It takes an hour and a half to ride up. I'd imagine children would get antsy. Not sure I'd take them. So the ride up and down takes three hours. What's the good parts? How many ..."chances to you get to stand on a mountain at 14,400 feet? It's surreal. If you get the chance to summitt, take some king of the world pictures. Try the Pikes Peak Mountain donuts (only sold at one place). Very snowy and icy at the top. Watched a lady with a walker trying to get around and felt sorry for her. Mel the conductor did a good job of occupying our time on the ride up. Many people get nauseous. Make sure you drink plenty of water long before you go up. They also sell oxygen at the station. Not a bad invest since there isn't much at the summitt. I'd only go if they are able to summitt.

"it was an amazing climb up the steep mountain. We were really luck with the weather also. I do recommend doing this if visiting Denver. We passed through Garden of the Gods on the way here which is also an amazing place.
Do bring a sweater since its cooold on the top! And NO Gluten Free food!"
