"We took one of the mapped scenic drives up the coast, which included a stop at Mount Soledad. The views from the top are indeed majestic and you can see for miles, but the roads leading to the lookout area are incredibly steep with some hidden roads (causing some suprising traffic). The trip back do..."wn wasn't as bad, just be sure to pay close attention to the road and what's going on around you on your way up!

"This beach is indeed windy. But the wind feels great on a hot beach day. The surfers that collect there are talented and interesting to watch in action. But the most important point of this review is that this beach is GORGEOUS!"
