What travellers are saying
- AppMyHomeEl Dorado Hills, CA494 contributionsWe've ridden by this place on our bikes for years but today we were walking and stopped ion to check it out. If you park in the lot there is a fee but otherwise visiting the museum and the powerhouse is free. It's a small little museum but has some really interesting exhibits that prepare you for the historic powerhouse. Staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. A interesting place to learn about Folsom's history and how it brought electricity to the area. Plus, super clean restrooms!Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

There’s areas where you can have a picnic , there’s a trailer park and camping grounds too.
We take our dogs for a walk around here three to four times a week but avoid it on weekends when it gets so busy.Written 19 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kstr0th4 contributionsWe’ve been several times to the performances at Sutter Street Theatre... We always come away very impressed with the entertainment they provide. The theatre is small (advance tickets are advised) and the seating is not luxurious, but remember you’re in Old Town Folsom, so it’s all part of the experience!! At intermission, you can purchase their refreshments, or, walk down the street to the Snooks candy shop for yummy caramel corn or a hand-dipped ice cream cone!! And, of course, there’s numerous restaurant choices for a meal before or after the show all a walkable distance from the theatre. Ticket prices are reasonable and there’s usually choices of shows to appeal to families or adults. A great place to go for a matinee or an evening!!Written 8 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heather TDavis, CA47 contributionsMy 9 year old swam with the Stingrays and had a great time. Their animals looked well cared for. They gave the animals plenty of rest time, many of the rooms were on breaks which was nice to see. We will def go back.Written 19 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
