We met the guide at an agreed meeting point around 7am (the times vary depending on sunrise), he then took us to his farm and the guide supplied us with coffee, foldable chairs and a blanket. Whilst we sat waiting for them, he told us about meerkats and how we has trained the wild meerkats to get used to his voice and people watching them. Eventually the meerkats, popped their heads out one by one. I was amazed how close we were to these wild animals. We watched them for about an hour checking the area but then the rain came and the meerkats went back into the borrow. The guide told us the trip could be between 2-3 hours depending on how long it takes the meerkats to rise.
