Wonderful visitors center. Interesting and informative exbibits. The Begula Slough Trail begins here which takes you down to Bishop's Beach. We found it to be an easy walk. There are informative signs along the boardwalk.

One of my very favorite trips ever. My son and Dog andi drove the camper van from Calgary alberta. Trip of a lifetime. Alaska it’s amazingly beautiful. Camped on the spit, small spots - just enough room to park but the experience was great. Also camped one Night in the provincial campground. Took Katmai air to Brooks falls!!!! OMG

Great tour of the marine life by the harbor. Our guide Dave was amazing! Our 15 year old was so engaged and thought it was the best tour. The younger ones loved it too. We touched and interacted with marine life and learned a ton. The kids didn't want it to end

We visited this place on the last day of our Classic Journeys Alaska tour. We were flying out later that day and weren’t excited about going to the home so. Wow! We’re we ever surprised and delighted with our time there. In fact we were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer. This couple is incredibly creative and imaginative as they have developed this beautiful and amazing place. Of all the things we did and saw on our tour, this was our favorite.

Great way to access Seldovia. Kept running even though the winds had picked up. Free tea and coffee on offer too.

We hiked to Glacier Lake a the base of the Growingk Glacier. It was an amazing day! If it is sunny out, plan a little extra time for lounging on the beach as we did. Soaking up the sun at the base of an Alaskan glacier - does it get any better than that? The park was well tended and all trails were well marked.

Good museum with diverse exhibits presented well (easy to read, etc). Very nice paintings by locals as well as other crafts. We saw it all in about an hour.

There was an array of items that matched various budgets and tastes. The artist working the day I went was very helpful. She offered (and I accepted) to box up and mail the one large piece I purchased very inexpensively.

This is a wonderful gallery hidden away near Anchor Point. The art work is beautifully displayed. If you are in the area, stop in and take an hour to browse. On request, they will let you go into Norman's studio. It is fascinating.

One member of our party raved about the stout as the best ever so we had to sample, and were indeed pleased with the stout and other beers sampled. We went for apres Nordic ski and walked into a kind and community feeling space, would recommend!

Bishop’s Beach is an easily accessed place to visit the seashore of Kachemak Bay in lower Cook Inlet that’s really popular with locals and visitors alike :). It’s a dog friendly spot (just be sure to clean up after your pooch) and there’s lots of parking, along with a shelter and tables for a picnic too. Come enjoy the marvelous sunsets here!

We rented bikes at the very end of the Homer Spit, then rode all the way into town to go to this brewery. What a cool and typically Alaskan place. Seems every one knew everyone else. Fun atmosphere greets you when you first walk in and the beers are served in pint bottles that look like old spaghetti sauce containers. Very tasty beers and definitely worth the trip.
