  "We visited both South Ari Atoll and North Ari Atoll on the Atoll Explorer, as a family. 2 adults over 50 and 2 boys aged 20 and 17. We were slightly concerned that the boys might find they were the youngest by far, this was true in the first week but not the second when most people in the first week..." left and a new group arrived including a honeymoon couple from Australia and an American girl on a gap year who was teaching in the Maldives for 4 weeks after the cruise. We toured the north Atoll first and then the south, on balance we prefered the north but there is not much to choose between them. The northern week includes a couple of 'resort' islands where you can use the pools and facilities. We liked the mix of resort islands along side the deserted islands. The second week is a selection of beautiful islands without resorts. Diving was marvellous. 3 of us dived, one did his nitrox qualification one did his rescue diver with Said.
