"Beautiful waterfalls and a free parking lot nearby. The path is well paved and you can follow the falls all the way up to the top. There is also a nature trail that looked quite interesting but we didn't have time to explore."
"A pleasant walk especially welcome at times when the Toshogu and Futarasan-jinja shrines and the Rinnoji temples are crowded. Collect a copy of the Nikko Historical Walking Map from the helpful tourist information office. A circular route marked on the map in green commences from the red lacquered ..."Shinkyo Bridge upwards through the Nikko Shrines and Temples and meanders upwards past a small waterfall to the Shrine. Vary the return journey downhill by following a path which branches off below the Shrine and runs parallel to a quiet road back down through the temple area finishing at the Bridge and Nikko town. The whole circuit including the temple area is around 5 km.

"The park is attractive and well-done, with many different shows. A tad expensive for what it is, but you do get a slight feeling of what an edo-period village may have looked like. The ninja battle is quite interesting as is the water magic show."
