This small museum at the north end of Sanur Beach evokes a time of innocence and beauty before the introduction of relatively recent laws banning "immodest dress." Even more impressive than the paintings by the Belgian artist of the young Balinese dancer he married and her friends is the small mansion in which the art and artifacts are housed: a lovely example of Balinese architecture decorated with finely carved and gilded wooden shutters.

"Dear readers,
My family and I went to Bali for 10 days in May and on the 12th and 13th of May we engaged Bali Nyoman services to bring us around the attractions in Bali. He brought us to watch the famous Barong and Kris Dance at Batubulan, as well as the Celuk and Batik Toko/Shop. We also went to T..."anah Lot, Sukawati, Ubud Market, and of course Uluwatu to watch the Kechak Dance. We also went to Pura Bedugul and other interesting places. He also brought us to a very nice restaurant in Jimbaran for our candelight dinner. The restaurant is very honest in charging us so we are very grateful to Nyoman. He is also friendly and can speak English very well. As my father is not much of a shopping person, he accompanied my father at the nearby cafe while my mother, brother and myself went shopping. The car is also clean and very comfortable. He also provides some tips on how to go around Bali. He is very helpful and polite to my family especially my parents. We had wonderful time in Bali thanks...

"I booked Eka as a driver a few weeks before my friends and I were traveling from Los Angeles to Bali. He was extremely prompt with all communication in making the reservation and even gave suggestions for things we could do while using his services for the day. He was perfectly on time to pick us up..." on the day we had arranged, and waited for us to experience whatever we wanted in each of the towns we stopped. He even had cold waters for us, which was MUCH appreciated in the Bali heat. I would highly recommend this service. Great price too!
