Secondly - getting there and back is easy there is a bus from the railway station direct to the museum, its the last sto..."p and this stop is actually in the museum gates so no excuses for missing it. So what of the museum - I was there on a bank holiday so some of the demonstartions that they do in the buildings were not being run, but there is an amazing selection of rural life buildings (including a church that still holds services). All set in woodland around a lake its a good way to spend the day. Expect to be there for at least 4 hours even if you just walk around without stopping. A must see in Romania. " More >

  "One of the great european squares, dotted with churches, museums, and cafes. There is even an Easter & Christmas market. Its great to see local planning considerations taking in to account the historical importance of the area, meaning that there are no new buildings in the square."
