"We visited the tower without being aware that it had been closed for over 3 years and only recently opened in December 2012 after lengthy restoration.
A tourist information point and ticket office is located in the bottom of the building with entrance to the tower leading upstairs as well as a sm..."all yet very cool and informative exhibit downstairs. The tower is accessible via stairs, leading up to the observation deck at approx 25 meters height (approx 5 stories high). The view from the deck is unobstructed in all 360 degrees and offers - on a clear day - a truly remarkable view of the city and neighboring area. We were not fortunate enough to have the best weather, but still the experience was remarkable.
On the way leading up inside the tower, an exhibit shows the reconstruction works and history of the building. My experience was that the information boards are not adequately lit, and could use a few direct spot lights for better readability.
