Yes, they are strict on safety briefs and the rules - but think about it, they have to be! Jetskis are not cheap! This was my third trip on the Daydream Extreme Tour, and we got lucky enough to get a single jetski each. All I can say is if you have the money to spare, spend the extra cash and get your own. The freedom is unreal! When to costs are added between lunch, an activity and all that time jetskiing around The Whitsundays, the value is really quite good. It took 3 hours to cruise to Reef World as we had to pick up guests at Hamilton Island before heading out to the reef. We arrived at Reef World around 11 am, having been picked up by the bus at 7am. Everyone was keen to jump off and get snorkeling but we had booked the Reef Sleep experience. We were treated like VIP's from the moment we checked in at the cruise boat. On arrival at Reef World we were met by our hostess, Natalie, and shown to our King Suite for our overnight stay.
