The Weta Cave screens a first-ever behind-the-scenes look at Weta and interviews with Weta co-founders Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor, Tania Rodger and Jamie Selkirk. We give you exclusive insight into the creativity and imagination that goes into crafting the art of Weta.In our mini-museum, you come face to face with some of the characters, props and displays from your favourite movies. Read the stories of how they were brought to life and learn about the artists who created them. Entry to the Weta Cave with its museum and film screening is absolutely free - come and enjoy with us.You may also purchase from a wide range of Weta related movie and TV merchandise.You can now also join our hosts for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the workings of Weta Workshop, with a guided tour within our newly opened exhibition space,the 'Window into Workshop'.See some of the props and models we’ve created over the years.Learn about some the processes we use to make cool stuff!Tours run every half and hour from 10am to 5pm, 7 days a week.
