One of the world's great Gardens, Powerscourt is situated 20km south of Dublin City Centre in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. The Garden was begun by Richard Wingfield in the 1740's and stretches out over 47 acres. It is a sublime blend of formal gardens, sweeping terraces, and ornamental lakes together with secret hollows, rambling walks, walled gardens and over 200 varieties of trees and shrubs. The House was gutted by fire in 1974 but recently has been reborn as an exceptional tourist destination. "Awesome guides who really goes in for it, great pubs, free welcome Guinness, free shots, free entrance at the final stop which is a nightclub. What else could you ask for?
I've done the pub crawl several (15+) times (even tho I'm no longer staying at a hostel I keep dropping in every now and then..."...), and I've yet to be disappointed. The guides really puts effort into it, the crowd is always amazing, you will meet someone interesting - EVERY TIME.
Great deals on the alcohol, and if you don't feel like buying any alcohol - you'd still get tipsy from the welcome Guinness and the shots! Not to forget - GREAT LIVE MUSIC!
If you're in Dublin, do not miss this. It does not matter if you are alone or with friends, it will still be great.

"The pub crawl starts at 8:00 PM 7 nights a week and ends around 12:30-1:00 AM. It costs 12 euros if you sign up at a hostel, but you can meet up with them at the first pub and pay 7 euros. It's a good value, but the welcome Guinness is a half pint and the shots are laughably small. Beer pong at o..."ne of the bars is a nice touch for the younger crowd. On the weekend expect 100+ people, on week nights expect 15-30. I recommend the week nights if you really want to meet everyone. Weekends are best for having a good time with friends and getting really drunk.
