"For Asterix fans, this is a must visit. If visiting Paris without a car, take the coach from near Louvre (you need to run around a bit to find it). It leaves at 9, so dont miss it. If you do or wake up late, another option is to take the RER to Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1 and take the coach..." which leaves every half hour from just outside the RER station. There is a ticket seller outside and an signboard of Park Asterix outside.
The Park is a beautiful recreation. English readers will find the names a little difficult because everything is in French. But despite that we had a great time seeing the little Gaulish village, the ramparts of the Roman Camp, the forest of the Carnutes and multiple versions of the pirate ship which sinks in every story. And the characters all dressed up.
