The rooms we saw when we followed up the 'Affitasi' signs in Torre Canne were very disappointing however and we ha..."d almost resigned ourselves to check the Eden Hotel when I spotted the Atlantic Pub - at least they will speak English and maybe they can help us with accommodation. Meanwhile the local streets were crowed with people taking their stroll - but not only pedestrians, the streets were blocked with traffic - even the cars get to take a 'passegiata' on Sunday evening. Luckily we had a good view from the Atlantic Pub and Michelle, the lovely Scottish co-owner with her bike riding partner found us accommodation in a lovely Villa just outside the town and close to the Beach.
