We had stayed overnight in the Naantalin Kylpylä hotel, and we took the 'street train' from there to the Naantali Old Town. It cost 20 euros for return tickets for two adults and two children, which I felt to be fair value. You could have walked all the way to Moominworld but the distance is rather too long with small children. However, it was still more than half a kilometre walk to Moominworld from the train terminus. As for older kids and adults, there isn't much to do besides the beautiful green island that the park is situated in. Our 4-year-old loved visiting the Moominhouse,..." hugging all the Moomins, watching the play in the theatre, getting a face painting, running along the little paths in the woods and watching the Moomin characters that are very active in the park (Stinky pranking policemen, Moomins playing summer games etc.). Our 1-year-old loved sitting on the grass and eating dirt. The food in the restaurants is pretty bad and overpriced. Take your own sandwiches if you can, there are places where you can eat them. As most of the visitors are families with small children, most places are accessible with prams and wheelchairs.   "Children for sure will like that place. I went there with a friend and actually also liked the time I spent there, as the Moomin World is located on a very little island. If you're tired you can spend some time sleeping in a hammock."
