For food we just ordered some frites, as I tend to bring along my own food to make sure that they get enough fruits.   "We went for my parents twenty years anniversary and it sure was a special place to go to. We came in at the Schaarsbergen side. Sadly you do have to pay, but it so worth it. Once inside you can either ride by car( lazy way of seeing the park) or you can take one of the free bicycles. The bicycles ar..."e in all sizes and some even have kid seats on them. You then are free to go where ever you want. I would recommend to first visit the museums and the hunting lodge(jacht huis) before cycling a big distance, picnicking or anything like that. We first cycled and then went to the museums but didn't have enough time to see all of it which we really wanted to. So to not make the same mistake, first visit the museums. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the views were spectacular. The hunting lodge was interesting but you don't get to see all of it sadly.
