"We visited the winery so we could taste some local wine during our visit to canalicchio. The welcome as pleasent and we met the CEO who explained a little about the company. We then head off up the hills to view the Vines and Olives which they specialise in. It was interesting to see altough more c..."ould have been made of the visit to the groves by way of more detailed explanation of the the harvest etc.
Back at the winery we had a tour of the factory and cellar where the wine is produced. It would again be nice to see more of the process for the olive oil also. On to the wine tasting. They produce 5 wines all of which were pleasant with two being very nice. The olive oil was intense in flavour. Well worth a visit but be prepared to leave a little lighter in the wallet.

"It is the only MiniMetro system in ALL of Italy, so it´s a shame it doesn´t get enought attention from the media. It is very handy to travel from the main station Fontivegge to the Historic city center, and the panorama you see when you arrive is FANTASTIC. In the last station in the City there is a..." nice park and a good bar/restaurant with panoramic view. Far more interesting and usefull tranport mean then the bus (price is the same).

University for Foreigners in Palazzo Galenga (Universita per Stranieri)
"WE went to a concert in the University. They had two world class performers, violin and piano who held the audience in thrall. And entrance was free. It started rather late, (Italian time) and the speeches were very long before it started. Next time we'll arrive late."
