Having struggled to find out much information on the Giara on the web went via Gesturi and up the hill (well marked) on a good road to a car park at the end of the road. At the car park there was a small information centre where it was possible to buy a map - if this is not open do not worry as the paths are well marked. We followed a round trip from the car park which was about 5km and flat - just head out the car park beside the information centre and walk along the big track.
