  "As a previous reviewer has noted you can take a walk along the beautiful coast from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino. It takes about 35 minutes to get to the mid-point. the tiny village of Paraggi, where the forest trail begins. From here you go up and down the wooded hills but its not too stren..."uous. The trail brings you into Portofino town. You can extend your walk if you wish and go to the castle and lighthouse or stay in the small town and admire the shops and tiny harbour. Be warned that the cafes at the harbour are expensive (€7 for 2 coffees), as are the restaurants (be aware of the cover charge as well as a service charge in many). To return you can walk, get the bus or the ferry. It's a very pleasant day out. " More >

  "beautiful, walkway path, definitely try on with you hicking shoes as trail can be quite rough but views are sooo shocking. Definitely rewarding experience"
