Climbing up stairs or ramps makes breathing hard for me but I took alot of stops and did ok. You really do not want to miss this. We were here in May 2013 and in Fall of 2012 they had a flood. I saw it on the internet-more like a title wave. So Rick Steves and others really in my opinion pushed the Cinque Terre. Just about all (4) the villages were up and going except one. I forget which one though but it was amazing to see the water levels marked on outside walls and the still damaged buildings with workers rebuilding. There were alot of lost lifes. If we had tried this journey on our own, we would not have had the opportunity to hop on a boat to take us back to Vernazza, as the boat was not operating due to the season (or so we had seen on the various websites we had visited).
