On a first immediate reading, Gracco's figural universe seems to reach us from a "classic" world, far away, as if we had been suddenly catapulted in time and placed in front of an example of mural painting, where the chromatic weaving, deliberately faded, tends to neutralise the space perspective and to offer itself on the surface, a little as happens to certain affrescoes.
