  "The strange staircase at at unusual angle struck me first. But overall this chateau was far better than most with a lot to see in the rooms that were open and NO strange limitation on cameras which could be freely used. A lot of chateaux are lovely empty shells, but not this one. It's so dreadful..." that the revolution smashed and destroyed so many wonderful sculptures..les barbares! No food but good loos. Lots of stairs and lots of guided groups to avoid! " More >

  "This chateau was lovely, with 4 different architectural styles. I loved the stairs! The interiors had beautiful pieces of furniture and paintings. Much less crowded and much more authentic than Chenonceau! It definetely worths a visit!"
