"There is so much to explore in Elmdon park and so much history to discover. The estate used to belong to the Spooner family and their daughter married William Wilberforce at St Nicholas's church in Elmdon Park. Every Sunday 3-5 from MAy to September the church sell home made cakes and you can sit an..."d have a cup of tea. We go every week we are at home on Sundays as they are fabulous cakes and so reasonable. The park itself has a good play area, a lake and loads of space to explore - nature reserves, the walled garden, woodland or just open space to run and play. In Winter there is always a good sledge run and up the top by the church is great for kite flying on a windy day. We always choose this park above others in Solihull and parking is not an issue.
