Great experience with very much displays and reading illustration on hand.
Spent around 4 hours and I would say it needs another 4 hours to cover the whole place.

A Family Tour and Tasting Experience for my fathers 70th Birthday. Marcos was our Tour guide and he delivered a educating and engaging tour of the distillery and history of Glengoyne as a whole. The tasting a chocolates was a great end to the tour, and i most definitely have a much better appreciation and understanding of Scottish Single Malts and we drank a fair bit or Glengoyne 15 yr throughout the rest of our scotland trip ;) - we're converted.

When anyone comes to visit, I take them here if it isn’t bucketing rain.
It’s just so, so interesting (especially to North Americans) and the history is fab. I’m a photographer - and it’s heaven.
The best views of Glasgow are also from here. So many truly interesting and astonishing structures! It’s huge, so prepare for good walking up and down hills.

What is really special is the Jewish part of the cemetery and its history as it’s a bit apart from the main cemetery.

Be certain to go through the Glasgow Cathedral, too, at the entrance. These two sights are both gems.

    Absolutely visit!

The campus is stunning! Really beautiful architecture. The Hunterion Museum and gallery inside the grounds were free to enter and well worth a visit. Really enjoyed our visit.

Visiting the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow during the summer was an absolute delight! The gardens were bursting with vibrant colors, lush foliage, and the sweet scent of blooming flowers. It was a serene oasis in the heart of the city, perfect for leisurely strolls and picnics with loved ones. From the exotic plants in the glasshouses to the peaceful ponds and meandering pathways, every corner of the gardens offered a new discovery and a moment of tranquility. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful escape, the Botanic Gardens is a must-visit destination in Glasgow during the summer months.

Brilliant place and so interesting to. I was spending 4 hours in the cathedral because there was so much to see. I thought the church inside was very cool.

This is the best shopping 🛍️ street in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Another thing this is like the best shopping 🛒 street I ever seen outside of London in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. It is very fun street too . Lastly it’s very charming too .

I visited in Feb 2024 with my 8yo son. We arrived about 10am when it opened and spent all day there, leaving around 1630, never bored.

There's plenty of lockers just near reception to leave your coats and bags (£1 coin each, refundable), you can take a picnic, or you can use the cafe or coffee shop (hint: the coffee shop at the imax has shorter queues).

The IMAX is worth a visit for an extra couple of quid as an add-on, and all the exhibits on the main floors are fantastic. Great for kids of all ages and a learning experience for us adults too.

A wonderful collection housed in a lovely building. Full of interesting items set out in airy surroundings, this is a great place to visit. And the staff are helpful and kind. But a word of warning: don't visit the restaurant, it's terrible.
