We are a small independent amateur theatre, located in the heart of Nottingham's historic Lace Market area. The Theatre is owned an operated by The Lace Market Theatre Trust Ltd., which is a registered charity. We have an enviable reputation for staging first class drama, offering productions that are rarely seen outside of London. The theatre is also available for private hire for functions and conferences, our prices are also very competitive.

A magnificent 17th century ducal mansion built on the site of the original Medieval Castle. The Castle has a turbulent past, linked to kings and conquerors and still has a maze of original caves hidden beneath its imposing walls. Now the building houses a Museum & Art Gallery, offering visitors an opportunity to see the best regional, national and international art in the regularly changing exhibition galleries. Plus the permanent exhibitions showcase costume and textiles, silverware, glass and a glimpse into Nottingham's history.

"This must be one of the best pubs in Nottingham. A really good friendly pub with a wide choice of beers and ciders, along with the added bonus of excellent food and service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, from helpfully offering tasters of the beers on offer to the owner actually open..."ing up the on-site shop for us on a quiet Thursday afternoon. For good measure, he threw in a quick history of the pub and its attached micro-brewery. We can't wait to visit again and I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

"I have visited the Theatre Royal several times over the past year (the last time being Thursday this week to see The Mousetrap) and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. It doesn't seem to have lost any of it's magic since I first visited about 50 years ago. The only drawbacks that I can find is the queue..."s for the loos and the lack of sweet selection.
I would warn you to study the seating arrangement so that you don't have your vision obscured too much.

"A lovely arena, i like that it's not too big so you can see well wherever you sit. It is eady to get to and parking's a doddle although very expensive."
