JUMP OFF A CLIFF:The Zip at Adrenalin Quarry in South East Cornwall, is the UK’s maddest ever zip wire. Long, high, fast. Twin wires cross the flooded depths of the old quarry, sheer cliffs rise on either side. The Zip is the only place in the UK where you can just turn up and jump. NO NEED TO BOOK! No fuss, no pre-booking, no hours of waiting around – we throw you off our cliff within minutes of arrival. We're easy to find, just off the A38 main road. THE GIANT SWING: IT WILL LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS. Perched at the top of our cliffs, The Giant Swing hangs 50ft off the ground, 150ft over water. You’re hoisted to 80° then plunged 3-at-a-time over the lake. Just when you think there’s no turning back, you pull out of the dive and experience zero gravity, before doing it all again – backwards. First reactions (after recovery time): ‘I was floating on air for 20 minutes afterwards.’ ‘The most amazing thing I’ve ever done.’ ‘Awesome!’ ‘Someone’s gonna pay for this!’. ‘I want to go home now’.No need to book this either! Suitable for all ages 5 - 96 JUMP RIGHT OFF THE CLIFFS INTO OUR LAKE! COASTEERING with THE BLOB at Adrenalin Quarry is unique. Check out our videos and snaps on facebook. We’re the first coasteering venue where the action’s all freshwater and children aged 10 or more can join in. We’re the only coasteering venue in the world where you feel like you’re on the set of Jurassic Park.Go wild swimming, traverse rockfaces, climb sheer cliffs then jump no-strings-attached into the lake. There’s always a safety boat on the water and BCF/SLSGB-qualified coasteering instructors guide you all the way. We’re also fully AALA registered. All this plus free entry, amazing views, bring your picnic and watch all the action from the viewing decks or down by the lake. Pets on leads are welcome, we're easy to find right by the A238 main road.

"We have occasionally visited this pub over the past 12 years during which time it has been everywhere from good to bad (very). After reading the reviews we were prepared to be disappointed and so were amazed. The new chef (2 weeks) has produced a very impressive range of food. The Cornish cod with ..."risotto was outstanding. The chorizo platter was excellent. My 2 guests had scallops and soup. All very good. Portions were large
Front of house could not have been better.
Good experience and good value

"We visited St Nectan's while on holiday from our native Derbyshire. We are very used to tranquil, spirit lifting places and find many to be providers of great peace. We found St Nectan's Glen and Waterfall to be exceptional, even by our standards. Although suffering a disability, my wife was able ..."to walk from the free car pack to the waterfall and back. Anyone walking along the riverbank on a gorgeous spring day must surely be moved by the beauty and serenity of this place. Good footwear is essential as the path may be muddy or slippery but its condition should not deter visitors. A welcome drink is available at the small café served by very friendly staff, including Ben. The small shop and gallery offer a modest variety of quality goods and is run by a gently spoken and gracious lady - Vicky - who is completely at one with her environment. Like the walk to the café the route to the waterfall may be awkward to negotiate in places, but despite the very steep descent to this brea...

"The most spiritual, magical, mystical experience.
I must admit I was so taken aback by the beauty & serenity & the feeling of inner peace, that I shed a tear or two.
This will by no means be my last visit, it will be the first of many & now I understand I will be travelling with gifts in hand.
..."Thank you Mother Nature for allowing me to share this experience.
For those who visit for the first time, especially if the weather is a bit damp, make sure you wear suitable footwear for the uneven & slippery surfaces.
