Designated heritage site in 1983, this Arts and Crafts House was restored to 1925. Featuring period gardens, heritage gallery, “Joey’s Playhouse” and access to Mill Lake. Abbotsford's important early industries are represented in Trethewey House: it was built with the finest fir lumber produced at the mill on Mill Lake. The bricks used in the chimneys and fireplaces were made with clay mined on Sumas Mountain and processed at Clayburn Village, B.C.'s first company town.

This hundred year old religious institution of the Sikhs was built by struggling pioneers starting in 1908, and is a testament to the pride, vision and steadfastness of a pioneer community at the turn of the last century. Today the grand old temple is restored to its former glory by the governing body of the temple, The Khalsa Diwan Society of Abbotsford, BC.Tours are arranged for visitors by calling ahead.
