The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park is located along the banks of the beautiful South Thompson River. The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park consists of both an inside and outside viewing experience for visitors. The tour of the museum offers a rich history of the life of the Secwepemc people. Once inside the museum visitors can view "The Land of the Secwepemc" DVD, and can then immerse themselves in the beautiful artefacts and displays within the four galleries that are offered.Afterwards, the Heritage park offers a trail of over a kilometre of archaeological remains of a 2,000 year old Secwepemc winter village. The winter village consists of 4 reconstructed winter pit-houses, and summer tule mat lodges which feature various unique food preparation structures. In addition; for viewing pleasure, is one of Kamloops Marshes that is filled with beautiful wildlife and visitors may even be able to get a glimpse of the Coyote (Skelep) and her pups that are currently living in the area.

"I like how they say it is the largest in the area. It's not large at all but the space is put to good use. The price of admission also included an umbrella - sweet deal! The exhibit when I viewed was by Germaine Koh, I think an industrial engineer, with interactive exhibits related to weather. I fo..."und the falling b-b's fascinating and many of the other exhibits of interest. A clever approach to translating wind, sun and earth movements indoors in creative moving or changing objects. I was visiting from Oregon and was glad I went. If you can find the library, you've found the art gallery.

"Falcon lanes is a great way to spend a couple of hours with the family.
It is located minutes from the highway and offers plenty of free parking.
The facilities although dated are clean and well maintained.
Food and drink (inc bottled beer) are on offer, but this can be limited dependent on..." when you go.
The cost is reasonable at $6 per game (inc. $2 shoe rental) for adults and $5.50 for children, although they do have special offeres so check the website before going.
The manager is always helpful and goes out of his way to help or accommodate any request you may have.
The only few negative points is that it can be easy to miss while driving past and the shoe storage is near the main enterance.

"Let me first say that this is a great place to take your children to and is great value for money.
There is plenty of free parking and is only minutes from the highway.
The facilities are clean and well maintained.
There is limited seating inside the play area but there is further seating..." behind the electronic controlled gate.
There is a standard legal waver you sign before admission which would not worry me but on the last three occasions I have attended (Saturdays) there have been children over the age of 13 running around and climbing on the equipment. This is a bit concerning when you have a toddler in the minddle of it which on one occasion left a small child in tears after being face planted into pole.
I would also like to recommend a child step to be added in the washrooms as the sink is to high.
Other than this concern in which I hope is an oversight by the owners, the attraction is a good addition to Kamloops.
