"Went to visit today expecting it would be one of those museums that is more of a store than a museum. Of course, none of the pieces are authentic. But they are excellent reproductions, where they artists tried to keep as close to the detail of the original. The only thing that is a little different ..."may be the color of the actual stone. A lot of attention to detail.
What is nice is that in one place, one sees a collection of some of the most important jade pieces that have been found in different archaeological sites. They are very well presented in separate displays. The piece the resistance is seeing an exact reproduction of the burial site of the Pakal king as it was originally found.
Well worth the visit when in San Cristobal and only 30 pesos

I took a big risk this Hotel has no reviews anywhere, the communication via e-mail was slow b..."ut I decided to make the phone call directly and book with zero deposit. The service was friendly and helpful with anything we asked “NO” hesitations.

Outstanding fast pace service by far the best service in town.
Service to the airport is available upon request. We had no problems with our hot water at all. During our stay the weather was so c...
