"I stayed at Castle Comfort Lodge and dove with Dive Dominica for 2 weeks. The Lodge is very comfortable and the little ladies in the Restaurant cater to your wants and tastes. It was a family atmosphere. The dive pier was a mere steps away fro the Lodge and the dive boats were roomy, well kept and s..."afe. The dive crews and dive masters were very customer oriented and were very helpful and knowledgeable. The Lodge is close to town and it is a 30 minute entertaining walk into town. The Lodge staff will make arrangements for any of your excursion interests and I definitely recommend one of the waterfall hikes. Diving in the National Park is a real treat as the sea life there is very abundant and diverse. The house reef was also highlight as I made a number of twilight and night dives. Make sure you take an afternoon and go out on the whale watch boat. Being able to see a Sperm Whale is very special. I look forward to my next visit to Dominica as I will definitely stay at Castle Comfort Lod...

"This was our second visit to Castle Comfort Lodge and we were not disappointed. Our arrival was delayed 2 days because the plane from San Juan could not land due to storms at the Dominica airport. The personnel at Castle Comfort kept in contact, telling us not to worry and welcomed us when we fina..."lly arrived. Diving was great, the food at Castle Comfort was good - better than restaurants we went to there. Hospitality was wonderful. Dive staff friendly and very accomplished. Older building typical of many Carribean locations. Air conditioning and ceiling fans. We stayed in ocean view rooms over the dive shop.

"With friends of Scuba Tech out of Destin, Florida I've had the great experience of diving Dominca several times.
On every trip we've stayed at Castle Comfort Diving Lodge and loved every minute of it. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the staff is most courteous and helpful. The food i..."s great, mostly consisting of local cuisine. The little bar on the water's edge is a great place to relax in the late afternoon and watch some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever experience.
Access to the dive operation and boats is right on property just a few steps from your accomodations plus the boat captians and Dive Masters are very professional; the diving is outstanding.
Another plus of staying at Castle Comfort is that the lodge is within walking distance to Roseau, the island's main village.
Trips to hike in the rain forest can be easily arranged through Castle Comfort. Our group always request the service of Lamber Charles, a guide we've come to know well and lov...
