On the day of the tour, he was right on time. We went to the volcano first in order to get a good view before the afternoon clouds settled in. The scenery along the way, and the view of the volcano were beautiful. Flavio is very knowledgeable about the vegetation and the animals of Costa Rica as well as the country's history and culture and this added to our enjoyment of the tour.
