Such prevalence of life guards, I have not witnessed anywhere in the world. Hence we felt very safe to take bath in the sea along with our children even though it is very rough during this part of season before the onset of the Monsoon. There water activities like para sailing which costs about Rs.1000 for about 5mins parasailing. The water scooter ride costs about Rs.500. but they will not allow you to go solo as you can do in Langkawi or Phuket. We couldnt have have gone alone anyway as the sea was too rough and it only suitable for very trained riders. We enjoyed some peaceful time with children building Sand Castles stc..
