Ttreated like trash!those precious treasures !They should ve been sold a long time ago when still in good condition. What a waste! Most the priceless antiques eaten up by termites! The tsinelas guide was fanning himself while criticizing and making fun of the former owners!

I passed by this amazing structure in Tacloban, one look and you'd immediately think that it's definitely a museum. ^^ Unfortunately, since it was Maundy Thursday. It's closed

for a small city like tacloban, this is one spot u cant miss. It showcase the many different cultures of the filipinos. Through its representation, it also tells us how enormous the wealth are of the former first lady. Even though many of its display are already worn-out of age, one can see that it is a big house (or... More

This place is overcharged, asking for close to 300 PHP for a quick tour of the mansion. Although it is a tourist site, this will only entice those who are interested in just how lavish the former first lady lived. Boasting close to 20 rooms, a ballroom, and lots of weird paintings, the sto. nino shrine is more of a... More

Imelda marcos designed this to represent and show all the many different regions and cultures of the philippines. From memory there are over 10 bedrooms on the ground floor each one designed to show the life and culture of the philippines. It also shows the social leanings of the marcos family and their ties with famous people like Chairman Mao... More

I thought I was visiting a church shrine, but it was an interesting glimpse on how wasteful the Marcos era truely was for the Philippines. The place must have been magnificant in the early 80's, but now it is a faded echo of what was. This is the home area of the former first lady and it shows, the people... More

This has clearly been Grand a long time ago. But now it looked neglected and badly needs attention. We cannot discount the historical value though. We should learn from past mistakes.
