A beautiful, breathtaking place. We didn't see any dolphins initially, but as we slowly began walking back to the car park, a large container-style boat was travelling in shore and we could see the dolphins racing alongside it, jumping out of the water at the front of it.

A nice point of view on the Mory firth : you can have the chance to observe some "bottle nose" dolphins, or some seals. A special light all day long: but go as well on the other side, and visit Fort Georges...

Where else in the UK can you stand on the shore and se pods of Dolphins swim, jump and generally enjoy themselves within 50 feet of the shore. The problem with this view point is the small car park but it is well worth the visit. Beware of low flying goofballs as the approach road crosses the golf course!

The view and the anticipation of the dolphins arriving. Just so amazing to see them in the wild here in Scotland.

Tide table essential - saw the dolphins at least once every day during our weeks holiday. A couple of hours after low tide seems to be the optimum time to get fantastic sightings.

This had got to be the best place in Europe to see dolphins! We've been to Chanonry Point on many occasions in both summer and spring, and every single time we've seen groups of dolphins - sometimes quite a way out, but mainly just a few yards away from the shore. If you do your homework on the tide times,... More

An excellent stopping off place with a view across the Moray Furh and a picturesque lighthouse and if lucky also seeing dolphins and seals in the water not far from the shore.

We went to Chanonry point mid April expecting to watch Seals but we didnt really expect to see dolphins so the fact there were none on that day came as no surprise. There were no seals on the beach and it was wet, windy and very cold so we originally decided not to stay long. My other half however was... More

Parked up at Chanonry for picnic lunch. Very peaceful. Followed signs for point, through golf course! Despite binoculars, failed to see any dolphins.
