Just home from thre day guided walk with my sister. We both in our mid sixties. Thank you to our lovely guide Marios. He never once made us feel older. He quietly accompanied us as we talked and laughed and walked and became immersed in this absolutely glorious part of the world. He is very knowledgeable about the local fauna... More

We had an amazing 3 day kayak and hike trip in April, and I wish I had signed up for the 5 day! The staff at Wilsons Abel Tasman are all amazing. Our guides couldn't have done more to make our trip enjoyable and special. The lodges are right on the beach and the food is amazing, especially considering everything... More

We did this trip in March. Had excellent weather. We were very impressed with the Wilsons guides; Dave, Lyla and Sam (and Shannon on the last day). They were always very professional, helpful, very knowledgeable and forever patient. The amount of planning and organising to make sure everything runs smoothly is superb. The meals from the lodges were excellent; you... More

We were well guided on a 3 day trip. Fantastic scenery and their lodges are great, with very good meals. It is a luxury you have to be able to afford, but did not begrudge a cent. More

This full day kayak trip was highly recommended in a Blog who is specialized in outdoors activities. So i give it a try. I've made a detour to Kaiteriteri , NZ. A exceptionnally kind person, Sophie was our guide of the tour. She has a really good sense of humour.  We enjoyed the facts she explained, of the places we... More

We had limited time on this visit but the experience has definitely left us wanting for more! We were more than a little envious of the guests enjoying a 5-day Abel Tasman guided trip.....! Everything was seemless and easy. Our overnight bag and track notes were very helpful, all crew knew who we were and were very friendly and welcoming.... More

Wilson's has a wonderful option to choose a multi-day trip - in our case, three days, two nights, that can include all walking in Abel Tasman or sea kayaking for part of the day(s). We booked the trip with another couple who wanted to kayak while we only wanted to walk, and it worked out perfectly. The beauty of Wilson's... More

My wife and I took a two day trip with Wilson's in Abel Tasman as part of a recent two week vacation in New Zealand. The Wilson shuttle bus took us to their office from our hotel in Nelson and then to their ferry which brought us up to Awaroa. We arrived at Awaroa around 11AM and spent the first... More

We got on land, and had a bit of a search to find where we had to go. but as soon as we found it we went on our way. For elderly people is is quite steap. But we managed. Although we went to quick in the beginning because we didn't want to miss our boat back. The trip with... More

I have just finished the 5 day walk/kayak tour with friends. Wilson's provided us with a clothing list.... it is important that this is followed. There are water crossings to wade through and you occasionally get wet. There is also a few sandflies so take your repellant. The track was wide with a few ascents and descents with wonderful views... More
