So much going on but brilliant experience. Try and get there early to avoid rubbish seats as most events are free to watch. Bring your own water and food as so much people to get through to go back and foruth to stalls.

I found it better than the main stadium in Bangkok. You're closer to the fights and the crown is more lively. I wouldn't make bets with any locals though.
Difficult to see children fighting. This is not local Boxing. You have only tourists in the Stadium paying 1500 bht !!!!
I would have liked to have seen older and experienced fighters. They had a lot of young fighters. They looked fragile and didn't perform very much that it dragged the fight out more and wasn't exciting to watch
Headed to Chaweng one night after listening to the cars driving round the island all day advertising the fights that evening. Very busy around the stadium although most people in the audience were tourists, only a handful of locals there. The tickets are not too expensive. The basic price gets you a seat on thewooden benches which arent too uncomfortable....

The athmosphere is incredible, with this dirge more arabian that thai played all the time. The fights are serious, I mean not exibitions, and I have seen some incredible K.O. What is not good? The price (1500 bath!!!!!) and and the 5 hours program (from 9pm to 2 am), a bit too much....
Got ringside seats for an evening of Muay Thai boxing. This was the first time I had watched this sport. Found the evening very interesting especially the fighters pre fight routine of almost ritualistic dancing showing off prowess.
The views are good although next time I visit I may opt for the cheaper further away seats as they seemed to...

We were told this is a must do thing... And yeah it is! From young school boys to adults, attempting to win the fight. They are so committed, from the traditional ceremony to begin, to the gratuitous loser. Well worth it. Bit dear though, but hey, ur on holiday right?
great evening watching this martial art. stifling hot though. added entertainment inbetween fights with juggling and rope tricks
