My fiance and I took a vacation to Tobermory in June, and we used Blue Heron Cruises on two separate occasions. Firstly, we took a trip to flowerpot island on the larger vessel (Blue Heron), and our trip stopped by two shipwrecks. The boat was a glass bottom. I didn't know exactly what a glass bottom boat was, but it's... More

I reccommend taking the fast boat that gets you to where the actual attractions are! The tour of the ship wrecks was interesting, but the "Glass bottom boat" is nothing but two windows at the front of the boat where you are unable to see anything from them anyway, even if you can score a spot around them among all... We took the fast boat that included the flower pot islands and the fathom five marine park. We saw 2 ship wrecks and an under construction light house. The water was quite calm and the boat wasn't full which was nice. Unfortunately we had to merge our boat with another and take on their passengers (which takes about 20 minutes... More

We did the Sunset Cruise. It lasts 2.5 hours. This is a good value professionally run trip. The boat slowly travels along the north shore of the Bruce Peninsula. There is narration at key points but not a non-stop narration that is irksome. After all, the main attraction is the scenery, which is spectacular. The ship, the Great Blue Heron,... More

My husband and I went on the 2 hour tour of the Fathom Five Marine park on the Great Blue Heron (this tour does not give you the option of disembarking at the Flower Pot islands). We were a little disappointed as we were expecting to see more shipwrecks (saw 2 shipwrecks in Big Tub Harbour). Aside from that, we... More

We purchased tickets ahead of time. We took the "slow" boat to the islands and took the express boat on the way back. Since we visited Fathom Five National park the afternoon prior to our boat ride, we were able to use that day's admission for the following morning. We just showed the receipt to the lady at the ticket... More

We recently took the 2 hour cruise of Fathom Five Marine Park with our two children. They loved the glass bottom and we loved the scenery. Wonderful way to see the rugged coastlines of the islands, flowerpots and shipwrecks. We were worried kids would be bored but they loved it. One thing I would mention is that we arrived only... More

Staff was very freindly. We took the 1 1/2 shipwreck/flower pot island cruise. Very scenic. Glass bottom isn't much. Better off being on the top deck to see the shipwrecks. Worth going on if you haven't been on the tour before.

We were on the sightseeing cruise, that did the two ship wrecks, and then then did the scenic tour and then looped around flower pot island and showed you the light house. Fantastic trip, great glass bottom boat, will definently do it again, and we were staying at the Harbour Side Motel and they gave us as part of the... More

Our first trip was on the Sunset cruise, it was a great coastline tour with ample time for photos. With a malfunctioning PA system, one of the crewman was out on deck, providing lots of local info and lore during the trip. With such a positive experience, we decided to go for another trip with this company, this time to... More
