The Boardwalk continues to please me! We had a fantastic stroll into Rockley/Accra beach and enjoyed the views. It's a slight shame that the views on your left hand side are not as pretty as the sea on your right. More needs to be done (post downturn) to liven up the run down buildings and empty lots. That said, it... More

Bustling boardwalk! Great views and good exercise. There were quite a few joggers and baby strollers whizzing by, then families and couples- the whole gamut. There is a police outpost station along it halfway, it felt extremely safe to wander there.

Great to power walk or jog on in the AM. Also a great alternative to walking on the road. Some great places to eat along the way.

Nice walkway.... a bit sand build up when we were there...however easy access to restaurants, etc. It goes quite a bit of distance so you can stay "off the street" and feel like you're in another world.

The boardwalk has made a huge difference to the south coast. You can now walk or jog from Accra to Hastings. Their are benches to sit on to take a break and view the beautiful ocean. There are also toilets which are extremely clean and staffed as well. We visited in October last year and no issues at all however... More

Love the option of going all the way to Coconut Court(Hastings) TGIFridays, etc--without once traveling on the crazy streets! By the way--Mama Mia's at the far end--delicious pizza, authentic Italian salads etc. Small, cool, reasonable prices, beer--nice place! The small Mom/Pop store next to it , run by Canadians from long ago--is a neat little business to pick up some sunscreen,... More

It was OK, but not the most breathtaking boardwalk I have seen. But, OK if you rather walk on wood than on sand. It is also very short.

This is a new walk. Opened in 2012 and runs for a couple of miles. It makes a lovely scenic walk when looking out to the sea and beaches. There is lots of sea life to see along the way. We saw many types of crab. It is safe for families and is more sheltered where the sea becomes rougher.... More

You can walk from the Tiki Bar at one end to more or less The Hilton, and what a lovely walk it is, occasionally dipping into the surf to cool the feet and stopping off for a Banks or Rum Punch
