This is a must-come place when you're in Genting. It's not far from First World Hotel/Genting Theme Park, about 5-10 minutes ride. There's a free shuttle bus that operates hourly from 9AM to 5PM (except at 1PM), and extends to 9PM on some occasions. The return bus is also hourly, starts at 9:15AM. Check with First World Hotel concierge for... More

The temple compound is big and nice to walk in the cool weather. There is also a "journey to enlightenment" where you can walk and read buddhist stories that is very interesting and nicely done up. There is a viewing point where you can get a good view of Genting and you can also take nice pictures around the temple.

This is the must-go-place if you go to Genting. Free shuttle bus from Resort World and First World Hotel. The place was really great. Large statue of Buddha with other Chinese gods and goddesses statues. It was very cold, foggy and windy in the morning. This made you feel like a shaolin in the mountain temple.

Hourly free shuttle from FWH bus terminal. So pay a roughly two hour visit here. Great scenery from the nine storey Pagoda though it takes a lot energy to climb up the stairs. Walk along the hillside constructions to know more about the Chinese belief in life sentence after death (a bit scary figures; only Chinese commentary). After all, the... More

I was there yesterday afternoon with my family, and even though mists have beclouded our sights and rain is drizzled on and off, it didn't take away the awesomeness of this place! The landscape view around the temple is just wow, breathtaking.. I learned that it was built for 18 years without heavy machinery, and it paid off, because the... More

Travelled to Genting Highlands from 27 - 30 Jan 2013. I have been to Chin Swee Cave Temple at least 4 times. To me, it's more of a Buddhist devotee's destination than a tourist's destination. Despite visiting at least 4 times, I look forward each time I visit the Temple. The last time I went was in Feb 2012. The... More
