Having read comedian Mark Thomas' book about The Apartheid Wall (as Palestinians call it), I needed to see the situation for myself.Could the situation be as emotive as he describes? The best way to find out is book a Green Olive Tour.I chose a 4 day tour and had an extra 3 nights with a wonderful Palestinian family,4 days of... More

I'm so glad I discovered Green Olive Tours before taking my trip to the Holly Land. I found out about this company in the US while doing research a few days before taking my dream trip. I wanted to visit Israel and the West Bank/Palestinian territory. Most people don't understand the complexity of the situation and don't know how meaningful... More

I took a tour of Bethlehem and Ramallah. Do not worry about security. Maybe this is as safe as Manhattan or any other big city with many people. We were picked up in front of Notre Dame hotel in Jerusalem and were taken to the Bethlehem checkpoint. Going to the West Bank is as easy as going to Tijuana from... More

I don't like tours. But I decided to go on a Green Olive Tour of the West Bank. Our guide, Samer Kokaly was amazing. Kind, funny, knowledgeable. This tour lasted all day, 9 to 7 pm, and was a very complex and interesting view of Palestine and it's struggle for a state of it's own. Samer makes the case the... More

Went on the Bethlehem & Ramallah tour, with Yamin as our guide - very good. He's an engaging and knowledgeable guide, with a personal history that illustrates the Kafkaesque world that is occupied Palestine. Aida camp was definitely one of the eye-openers, with the wall looming over it and the bullet marks on the buildings. Coming back through Kalandia checkpoint... More

While visiting Israel in April / May this year I was keen to experience the West Bank region. So I booked myself on three tours organised by Green Olive Tours. I visited Hebron, Nablus, Bethlehem including a 3 night Homestay. I can say without reservation that these tours were the highlight of my month stay in Israel. The guides are... More

It's a really great experience to visit Hebron and Bethlehem. Everyone who visit Israel, should make a trip to the Westbank with Green Olive Tours. It was very interesting and the guide was excellent, friendly and attentive. Next time we are in Israel, we do another trip. More

This was a trip I had planned to make with green Olive Tours for some time so I was delighted when the opportunity arose for me to join Fred and three other travellers for a journey to the Negev to experience the difficulties faced by the Bedouin in their ancestral lands. We started early and our first stop was a... More

I was in Jerusalem overnight so the walking tour centered in the Old City was perfect. The excellent guide gave an overview of the history of the area with very helpful maps, so I had a good idea of the current situation when we started the walk. I'd had a quick run round by myself the night before but on... More

We visited Hebron yesterday on a Green Olive tour, and it was a very moving and meaningful experience. Our guide (through the associated company Alternative Tours) was very sensitive, very politically open minded, and very aware of the overall situation. They took very good care of us - a reminder email and then a same-day phone call, clarity about the... More
