This is supposed to be a vantage point to view Kanchandzonga and other Himalayan peaks (Siniolchu, Kabru, Pandim, etc). However, we did not get a clear view on account of clouds, although thw eather in Gangtok was bright and sunny.
The ideal time to visit Tashi view point is early morning.

The view point is a bit away off the way and has a temple to visit close by with a magnificent view of the valley on one side. There is a restaurant to kill your hunger as one gets tired during the long trip. Other than some good photographs there is not much to be expected.
