Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim, India, some 40 kilometres (25 mi) away from Gangtok at altitude of 3,780 m (12,400 ft). It takes 3-4 hours to reach from Gangtok by road depending on the weather and road conditions. Nathula pass and Baba Mandir are just some odd 15-18 kms from this lake....

This place is on the way to Nathula and really worth a visit. One can visit the place after making permit in Gangtok. It has eateries which serve hot momo and maggie.
The journey towards it was on a tough terrain so we took a lot of time (considering the distance) to reach the lake . But were just astonished at the view and the calmness of lake at such an altitude bordered by snowed rocks

Cleanliness and Nature at its best. Nice place with YAK there you can get yourself clicked. You can travel to other side of the lake from a small bridge.
the place was snow covered and the drive up there was exciting and challenging. The beautiful view as one climbs the winding roads and the mist all around us was a life time experience
