Less than five minutes drive from the beach road. This park was better before the Dec 11 cyclone Thane. Many trees were lost in the cyclone. It is just limping back to normalcy. One can include Sacred heart Basilica on the way to this park.

It must have been a great garden but it has fallen into neglect. It is now essentially a public park with some glasshouses with broken windows. And in India a public space always means litter and vandalism.
With some funding it could be still restored, as workforce in India is really cheap.
Good: adorable children's train, interesting to imagine how...
