I have been to many beaches and i can safely say that this is one of the most beautiful that i have ever seen. On the Jandia Peninsula, you can walk forever across shallow pools and see straight to the bottom for miles. Perfect for kids to splash around. Parts of the beach are very quiet and no one around... Playa Risco del Paso is a stunning beach, ideal for those who like to relax and those who like to wind surf. There is a sandbar that gets surrounded as the tide comes in and makes getting back to land an adventure! The beach bar is basic but serves a welcome cold drink.

The beach at Sotavento has to be seen to be believed. An expanse of wide flat white sand that goes on for miles. At high tide it floods with around average 6 inches of water that is so warm it is like being in the bath.It is the only place I have experienced were shoals of fish swim around your feet as... This lovely golden beach was utterly lovely. About two-thirds of the beach goers were naturist, one-third not. The sea is heavenly, with quite big waves. There is a small bar selling drinjs and food. But mostly it is very quiet and peaceful

I would recommend to rent a car and travel around the whole of the east coast (from Morro Jable, passing through Costa Calma, and all the way to Corralejo) there are some places on the west coast worth visiting but if you don't want or don't have the time to do it all at least do the east coast as... As a Windsurfer the trip to Sotavento was well worth the effort. Fantastic sandy beach, safe Lagoon/Sand bar and lots of wind! Want to goback and spend a week there next time... not just a morning!

We have been to this stretch of sandy beach many times and never get tired of going. It is often windy, hence the wind surf school and club there but if you get into a stone circle or into the dunes a little then it is very sheltered. You can walk for miles in the nude. The sea is great... More

The beaches between Jandia and Costa Clama are fantastic, sometimes windy but always spectacular. White sand contrasts with black lava rocks. There are many scrub areas at the back of some of the beaches which can become submerged during high tides. Nearly the whole length of the beach is naturist, and is also subdivided into individual beaches at high tide.... More
