The ruins in Didyma are superb, uncrowded, and a place well worth visiting.most of the ruins are still on-site, something that can not be said for many others. this is a great trip, especially for those who have already visited Ephesus.

Stayed in Altinkum in May 2011 and was able to walk to Didymaion in @ 45 minutes (recommend to go early morning before it gets too hot). The remains of the Temple to Apollo give a very good indication of what an impressive site it must have been in Hellenic times. I wonder if any of today's skyline landmark buildings...
