This museum is not the easiest place to get to but it is not to be missed if you are an admirer of Van Gogh. It is possible to day trip it from Amsterdam; however we took a bus from Arnhem. Although we had to change buses the connections were easy and the bus drivers were very helpful. The museum... More

After a rather ramshackle journey to the hinterlands of Ottorloo from Amsterdam (tram, train, and bus) we finally found ourselves at the entry of the famed Kroller-Muller museum complex. The museum is very remotely located within a national forest. Please be aware that if you take the public bus to the museum you are required to get off the bus,... More

For anyone who appreciates the work of Vincent Van Gogh, and for anyone who is interested in the sheer beauty of integrating a museum into incredible surroundings, this is a must. It contains the 2nd largest collection of Van Gogh's work in the world, and it opens itself to the hundreds of acres of surrounding woodlands in the most unimaginably... More

My wife and I visited this museum as part of a river cruise tour. As the title implies, we had a great time. Terrific display and commentary on Van Gogh pieces and plenty of other well-displayed art! The expansive sculpture garden is impressive of itself.

Love this museum...park the car and ride a bike up to the museum. The bikes are gearless and very easy to pedal even for oldies like myself. This museum has the second largest number of Van Gogh 's in the world. There is a gift shop and cafe on site. Was great fun on the bike too!

Visited the Kroller Muller the first weekend of the opening of the Land of light Van Gogh exhibit on a lovely sunny day. The Van Gogh exhibit itself is terrific and there is much to see and enjoy in the rest of the collection. This is a modern, light filled museum with many important works of art. Then there is... This is a very good art collection situated in the middle of a beautiful garden with modern sculptures. If you go to Amsterdam put it on your list to see. We hired Mr. Gerk Kazemier a personal tour guide who picked us up in front of our place and drove us to the Museum. He is a very nice man,... More

Loved that you could combine a huge cycling workout with art history. The sculpture garden was amazing, and the collection was incredible.

This museum shows the collection collected by Mrs. Kroller-Muller. She had a good collection of the best artist of her era. There is a good collection of Van Gogh and a great garden with contemporary sculptures.

This is what you will find in this museum, the Kroller Muller personal collection of art work, Helen Muller was the largest personal collector of Vincent Van Gogh, with many original drawings and paintings. I had never seen Van Gogh's charcoal drawings and studies or the original 'dark' earth colored oils, then see him move into his bright energetic style.... More
